The Book of Acts: Lesson 4, The Early Church's Growth Explosion

 Over the past 3 weeks, we have begun our journey through the Book of Acts. We’ve seen two of the most monumental events in Christian history: the ascension of Christ and the coming of the Holy Spirit. With those two things having taken place, the Christian Church is launched. Today, we will be studying some of the Church’s first days. We will look at how the church experienced tremendous growth in the midst of great persecution. We will also see how our early brothers and sisters lived in community with one another. In this unique time in history, as the transition took place from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant, we will see how Christ’s power and sovereignty sustained it all. I can’t wait to dig into this deeper with all of you!
