Information for Public School Families
The State of Michigan allows for public school attendees to take 2 hours of release time for religious studies weekly. You can learn more about that law here. Our classes meet two times per month and times have been selected to have minimal impact on your child’s other studies.
Pre-k - 4th Grade: 11:30 - 1:15
5th - 12th Grade: 10:45 - 12:15
Transportation: The best option is to have a family member transport your child to and from the school. If this is a barrier for your family’s participation, please let us know! We are hopeful that the Body will come together to help make this happen.
Communication with the school: The schools require a letter from your family to inform them of the release time. Please print and sign the letter below and give it to the school office at least 2 weeks prior to the co-op class start date.
